iLEARN invites you to join Shannon Sudrla, OTS as she presents on Occupational Therapists' Role in End-of-Life care.
Presentation Description:
There is a distinct need for OT services among patients with terminal illnesses. Join Shannon Sudrla, OTD capstone student and certified End-of-Life Doula to learn about the end-of-life care practice setting and the role, scope, and delivery of OT services within it. This course focuses on the fundamental components of end-of-life care and the administration of the OT process for patients receiving hospice and palliative care. Although OT-focused, this course can apply to other rehabilitation services and benefit all students interested in end-of-life care. This course will take place on Thursday, March 30th at 5:00 pm EST/ 7:00 pm CST/ 8:00 pm EST.
